KBQuest is delighted to receive the Enterprise Software - Consulting Award in the HKB Technology Excellence Awards 2022. KBQuest was recognised for building a proprietary and scalable workplace cloud portal that enhances operational efficiency by 70% and maintain confidential data at bank-level security.
The judging panel of the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards chose KBQuest based on four of its achievement in an Enterprise Proprietary Workplace Portal project.
To address the need of building the portal in a fast turnaround, we embraced the DevOps practises along with Azure DevOps Services which enabled the team to adopt an agile methodology for the end-to-end deployment, governance and sprint backlog management.
Moreover, the team leveraged AKS to build and host the portal with a microservice architecture, which allows high mobility, extensibility as well as reusability. By employing DevOps practices in the Kubernetes environment, customer is enabled to act quickly at scale while maintaining consistency across environments.
With zone-redundant storage (ZRS), our solution ensured all data is replicated synchronously across storage clusters. With RTOs and RPOs are both improved, the portal is equipped with a holistic resiliency with availability supported by 99.9% uptime SLA.
In addition, to deliver a comprehensive security monitoring and alert system with intercommunication, the team combined various security components to protect all data with encrypts keys, secrets and connection strings.
